Some days we even see a dead deer lying on the side of the road and soon it is hauled off by animals for a tasty meal. Seeing deer is a daily occurance for us.
I have lost any love for these creatures. They are eating my flowers and bushes.
This is what is left over from their latest meal in my front yard. They only eat the tasty blossoms. Kind of like my kids only eat the Lucky Charms marshmallows. My yard serves as a 24-hour Buffet for the local deer. They aren't too picky; they will eat pansies, tulips, phlox, hostas, rhododendrens and azaleas. They have even eaten my nellie stevens evergreen trees and some of my holly trees.
After spending a several thousand dollars replacing trees and bushes that were nibbled down to the trunks and bare branches, we bought a BB gun. So when the motion sensored flood lights in our yard click on at night we grab the BB gun and open a window and let them have it. Apparently the BB's don't hurt enough cause they keep coming back.
